Featured Quilt - Second Place Wall Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2025

Baltimore In Blue by Linda Neal won Second Place - Wall Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted (Sponsored by Juki America, Inc.) at AQS QuiltWeek – Paducah 2025 and First Place - Appliqué (Sponsored by Road to California, Inc.) at Road to California 2025. Quilted by Jackie Brown, and using the Baltimore Spring pattern by Pearl P. Pereira from P3 Designs as her design source, Linda created a beautiful blue quilt that has many intricate and amazing details that you may miss on your first viewing.

She says her quilt features, "384 flying geese (1/2" X 1"), 360 loops of cording for the edge treatment, a fancy heart with 67 reversed scallops and the PERFECT blue background fabric. I had made several Baltimore style quilts on white/cream background fabric and was ready for something different. When I saw this fabulous blue fabric - I bought the bolt and started the quilt. Coordinating the colors of the corded binding to the flying geese was a challenge!"

The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Travelogue Through Europe

"City of Saints" by Jaimie Davis

After saving up all her quilting money for six years, Jaimie took her family to Europe for five weeks because she wanted to show her kids how life-changing international travel could be. City of Saints, you could say, is a summation of that trip and a compilation of everything Jaimie had learned up till she made this quilt. It features many different iconic buildings in world class cities scattered though out its layout, including Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, and it takes its name, City of Saints, for featuring St. Peters, St. Paul's, and St. Mark's among many other famous landmarks.
